The InLine serial extension with 9-pin Sub-D plug to 9-pin Sub-D socket is used to extend existing serial interfaces. It is suitable for RS232, RS422 and RS485 connections between PCs, servers or peripheral devices with a corresponding DB9 interface.
Thanks to the 1:1 pin assignment, all pins are directly connected. There is no cross-wiring. This means that the existing signal structure remains unchanged and the connection can be easily extended.
The moulded connectors support a stable mechanical connection and ensure long-lasting use in daily operation. The standardised 9-pin Sub D design allows easy integration into existing systems.
